Quotations & Orders

On receipt of your enquiry we will send you confirmation that we have received your order and only once we have authorised your order by way of a separate contract is your order deemed to be accepted.  Our Giant Solar 10 step process applies to Domestic installations only.  Specific terms will be made available for Commercial installations.

You will not do anything that affects the operability or security of the Giant Solar Website or its third party content including social media.  You will not cause unreasonable inconvenience or offence or disruption to our staff.

Unless we tell you otherwise, all services, incentives and referral codes are only available in the geographical regions covered by Giant Solar Ltd which may change from time to time.

Giant Solar may at its discretion fulfil its services differently to what is advertised on our website for reasons deemed reasonable by the Company and you are required to request preferred methods in writing to support@giantsolar.co.uk before confirming your order.  Cancellation charges may apply if you decide to cancel after your cooling off period where we are able to carry out the services but different to as shown on our website or fall short of your chosen methods or preferences.

Giant Solar’s ongoing exclusive benefits and updates is a free discretionary service for domestic clients  where we choose when and what to send to our customers for legitimate reasons aligned with our vision. We are under no obligation to provide regulatory updates or notification of every benefit or incentive available and there is no timeframe associated to our updates.  Our updates could be random and sent at anytime during the period of your warranty.  You must refer to manufacturing instructions and seek legal advice and/or professional advice for your ongoing obligations. In no event will we be liable for any loss or damage including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any data/profit loss or damage whatsoever arising out of, or in connection with, our ongoing updates sent to you or where we have not provided any updates.

The company may at any time cancel an order or quotation for reasons including but not limited to lack of resources, manufacture delays, closure of an incentive scheme, product availability, change in base price for materials and for any unforeseen circumstances which arise during installation such as Asbestos or additional works required which were not foreseeable.

We may cancel an order prior to commencement of works or during installation.  If Giant Solar cancels an order, you will be entitled to a full refund but in no event will we be liable for any loss or damage including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss of data, earnings or profits whatsoever including any government funding, vouchers or incentives which we are unable to fulfil and otherwise would have been available to you.

Copyright, Data Protection and Disparagement

You will not post, upload or transmit directly or indirectly:

  • Any defamatory or disparaging comments or reviews.  Any negative reviews or experiences must be backed by evidence before publish;
  • Threatening, obscene, harmful, pornographic or otherwise illegal material or material which would violate or infringe in any way upon our rights or those of others (including intellectual property rights, rights of confidentiality, or rights of privacy) or cause distress or inconvenience.
